Ian Stirling Funeral - 6th April

The funeral of our much loved and sadly missed friend and colleague, Ian Stirling, will take place on Thursday 6th April.

There will be a special celebration at Old Trafford open to all those who knew Ian and would like to pay their respects and celebrate his life. We hope you can join Ian's family and friends if you are able to.

If you would like to attend the reception ("wake") on Thursday afternoon in The International Suite at Old Trafford, to enable planning numbers for catering, please register here. All are welcome to attend the reception.

Note that the funeral service itself will be private, for close friends and family only. However the family will then join friends at the reception at Old Trafford from approximately 2.30pm. 

This will provide the opportunity for people who knew Ian to gather together and share their thoughts with each other and Ian's family. There will be a video and picture display and also a Book of Remembrance for anyone who would like to record their tribute to Ian.

We have also opened an Online Book of Remembrance for those who would like to leave a tribute to Ian now.

Rather than flowers, the family would welcome donations via Ian's fundraising page for The Stroke Association. We expect to do further fundraisers for other causes close to Ian's heart after the funeral has passed.
